Aaliyah Love’s publishing milestones
Agency representation, a website relaunch and industry recognition trace a distinct strand of her professional development.
An agency agreement in 2013
In February 2013, Love announced a three-year exclusive agency agreement with ATM/LA, also known as Adult Talent Managers. She said it was her first experience with an agent. The arrangement developed from an existing business relationship with Mark Schechter through her personal website.
This placed representation beside a publishing activity she had already built. Her work now involved two connected professional structures: a site associated with her own name and an agency handling bookings for outside productions.
A new publishing chapter in 2014
The October 2014 relaunch brought her website into the CherryPimps network. The announcement described new photography and HD video, refreshed presentation and plans for regular live appearances. Love also highlighted audience interaction as part of the project.
A messaging system and a way for members to rate material were among the announced features. These details show that the relaunch concerned the experience around the work as well as the work itself, with publishing and audience communication developed together.
Recognition for the website
The website received the Best Solo Girl Website award at the 2015 AVN Awards. This recognition followed earlier website nominations, including an AVN nomination in 2013. It placed her independent publishing work among the recognized web and technology projects of the ceremony.
The award concerned the site bearing her professional name. It sits alongside her performance credits while highlighting a different part of her career: a continuing digital project with its own material, presentation and relationship with an audience.
A broader set of professional credits
Her recognition extended beyond the website. The nominations announced for the 2015 XBIZ Awards included Female Performer of the Year and acting categories connected with her narrative work. The website also appeared among that group of nominations.
By this period, representation, studio performances and personal publishing were developing together. The milestones show several kinds of work running in parallel, with recognition attached both to individual screen projects and to the online presence she had built over time.
